Milan, 18th February 2020 – After the great success of last year, the 2020 edition of the Grand Road Italia warms its engines. The event is scheduled from 29th to 31st May 2020 with many news and the same spirit of adventure. Organized by the Scuderia Mantova Corse, with passion and the mature experience of 30 editions of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, the Grand Road has become the international appointment of modern touristic regularity for GT enthusiasts. An experimental race that combines a highly innovative format with an exquisitely chic and glamorous allure, creating a unique social occasion with a high convivial, sporting and touristic value.

The event is open to modern supercars of any brands built between 1991 and 2020, plus to a "Historic Grouping" of maximum 35 cars built between 1982 and 1990. The Grand Road combines two main souls: tourism and regularity. A unique event in Europe that meets the interests of the community of the enthusiast owners of these spectacular cars, allowing them to live an unforgettable experience, in which the pleasure of driving meets a healthy spirit of competition.

The big news this year will be the route: over 700 kms from Cortina to Portofino in an imaginary panoramic bridge between the Alps and the sea. The race will start from the glamour Cortina d'Ampezzo to follow along a wonderful itinerary that will touch natural scenarios of rare beauty and emblematic places of the “Dolce Vita”, such as St. Moritz and Portofino. The event will be rich in adrenaline rushes, too: the crews will have the opportunity to test their supercars’ performances in the epic National Autodrome of Monza, the temple of speed par excellence.

The Grand Road is a motoring event inserted in a framework of hotel and restaurant hospitality of the highest level, giving to participants the privilege to live an all-round five-star experience. The evenings will be hosted in locations such as the Hotel Cristallo in Cortina, the Sporting Club of Monza and the Hotel Excelsior Palace in Rapallo. Refined settings as a tribute to the automotive passion, that celebrates the automotive culture and revives the golden years of motorsport.

REQUIREMENTS AND TERMS OF REGISTRATION:
The event is reserved for Supercars of all brands, built from 1982 until today. The registration requests have to be filled on the website: www.grandroad.it , from January 15th to April 30th 2020. Limited places.
